Summit Bible College is the training arm of City Central Church. Summit College is also part of the Australian College of Ministries training network (RTO #90965) and offers the following course.
Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology (Ref 30772 QLD)
Using material from New Beginnings Training Institute, written by Pr Ken Legg, the course covers personal development, biblical studies and practical ministry skills. The program is run as a one year, full time course and follows the NSW School terms.
Lectures for full time students are held on Monday and Thursday evenings between 6:30pm—9pm also including 8 Saturdays per year from 8:00am-2:00pm. Part time students may study individual subjects at these lectures (depending on available spaces). “Not for Credit” students are also encouraged to enquire about availability of places in the course.
The course is Vtab accredited and full time students may qualify for Austudy assistance.
Alpha is a course designed primarily for people who want to know more about the Christian faith. People who have attempted Alpha have done so for a variety of reasons: Some may want to know what happens after death; Some have specific questions they need answered; Others want to explore the Christian faith; Some are just searching for meaning of life. So, whether you are attending church and want some good foundational Christian teaching or are exploring Christianity for the first time, then Alpha maybe relevant to you.
